What to engrave
Each template has a fixed number of engraved lines, shown as numbered markers on the board photo. A few combinations that work well:
- Both first names, surname and the wedding date (Template 5)
- An initial, surname and “Est.” plus the year you met or married (Template 6)
- Five-year anniversary: the traditional wood gift, with the year engraved
- For parents: their surname and the year of their wedding
