How does the personalization work?
Each template has one to four engraved lines. On the product page, numbered markers on the board photo show where each line lands, and the form has one field per marker. Type your names, date or words exactly as you want them engraved.
What is the board made of, and how big is it?
Solid acacia, 20 inches by 11.75 inches and 0.75 inches thick, about three pounds. It is a real working cutting board, finished with food-safe oil.
How is the engraving done, and will it wear off?
The design is laser-engraved into the wood. There is no ink, paint or vinyl, so it cannot peel and it stays legible through years of washing and use.
How long does it take?
We engrave and ship within 48 hours of your order. Shipping is free anywhere in Canada and usually takes two to five business days depending on the province. US orders ship for $12.
Can I see a preview before you engrave?
The numbered markers on each product photo show exactly where your text goes, and the sample engraving shows the typeface. If you want to confirm anything before we engrave, send us a message with your order number and we will check before the laser runs.
How do I care for an engraved board?
Hand wash, dry it standing up, and never put it in the dishwasher. A light coat of food-safe mineral oil every month or two keeps the wood and the engraving looking new.
Can I ship it as a gift?
Yes. Enter the recipient’s address at checkout. The box carries no pricing, and the confirmation email goes to you.
